The Space diagram
The Space diagram is the voltage
across the line graphed as a function of the position along the line. This
voltage changes as a function of time, because of waves traveling on the
line. The number of reflections is limited to 10 in this applet.
There is no possible user action
on this graph. The graph can be “frozen” by clicking on the “pause” button
of the applet. On the frozen graph, the voltage is graphed as function
of position for a specific time.
The animation can be continued
by clicking on the “continue” button. By successively pressing the
“pause” and “continue” buttons, you can visualize the wave propagation
step by step.
